First and foremost, wear what’s comfortable. For couples, family & engagement shoots I recommend coordinating what you wear to be in the same color palate. I recommend matching to some degree (you wouldn’t want one person dressing fancy and the other casual). Also, when choosing colors, also keep in mind of the location you have chosen. If your location has a warm yellow background, opt for more contrasting color choices such as black, white, beige etc.

Neutrals almost always photograph well in all locations, avoid loud printed clothing items (unless desired for your specific shoot).
